Troy Bilt - TB110 21"mower - recurring won't start
My 84 year old father bought TB110, which states "2 year warranty" on the label, model # 11A-A230711 ****54, Serial # 1D173K92149 from Lowe's which also includes a 1-800-77LOWES in the fall of 2013. He used in once that fall and it would not crank the following spring.
In the spring of 2014 he paid Lowe's to 'rebuild' the carb because they claimed he left bad gas in the mower. My 84 year old father has been buying 'non-corn' fuel for his equipment and adding fuel protector for decades. He paid to have the mower repaired last summer and now it will not start. My father assumed he would get service similar to his old Troy Bilt tiller when he bought this push mower.
It is a damned shame that Troy Bilt permits Lowe's to force it to a price point where the Troy Bilt name is destroyed, This mower looks brand new, but as my 84 year old father pointed out, it hasn't run but about three hours and it been worked on longer than that. I have this mower. It WILL NOT START after little use.
I shut it off to refuel and it WILL NOT START without letting it set for at least 30 to 45 minutes.
I am returning it to Lowes tomorrow. I have had it about 3 months.
